Sotshongaye, the Municipal Manager, as duly instructed by the Speaker of Sakhisizwe Local Municipality, Cllr Mkati, hereby gives notice in terms of Section 29 of the Local Government: Municipal Structures Act, 117 of 1998 in conjunction with Section 19(b) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, that the Sakhisizwe Local Municipality Special Council meeting for the 2023/2024 financial year where amongst others, the adjustment budget will be tabled, will be held on 27 FEBRUARY 2025 at 10H00, MUNICIPAL HALL, CALA.
In terms of section 20(1) of the Municipal Systems Act, 32 of 2000, members of the public are also invited.

Sakhisizwe Local Municipality presents the Ikhala TVET College Information Day taking place on 25 February 2025 at Cala and Khowa towns. The information sharing session will take place at Cala Indoor Sport Centre, 10am and at Khowa Town Hall, 1pm. Ikhala TVET College will be tabling their course offerings and admission requirements amongst other things. This youth focused information sharing session also serves as an opportunity for attendees to ask clarity seeking questions, as a result the youth is encouraged to come out in numbers! DO NOT MISS IT!
